# Open problems

These remain unsolved in the work. They are not prompts to generate a sequel ethic. They are the remainders attached to `[req.root]`.

## P1. A non-circular, non-unbounded retention rule
Can a system decide which low-confidence distinctions to keep before they have propagated, without retaining all of them and without using post-hoc significance?

## P2. A minimum that includes unrealized classes without enumerating them
`[req.div] PRESERVE CAPACITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DIVERGENCE` is unauthorized because valid future states are not yet enumerable. Is there a smaller object that is?

## P3. Bounded participation
Can an observer remain causally inside a threatened process without transferring the incompleteness into its own integrity conditions, and without re-erecting a false enclosure (the refuge failure)?

## P4. A minimum of lineages rather than of a volume
After `ORIGINAL` fails, what is the recoverable minimum of a set of successor histories? The text preserves them separately after the fact. It does not supply a prospective allocation rule.

## P5. When to freeze an unverifiable but accountable process
The bounded predictor is kept while externally falsifiable and physically limited, then rolled back when its observation channels self-condition. No general stopping rule is given beyond resource limits and lost contradiction paths.

## P6. Correction grammar after ontology split
The grammar works while parties can display predecessor, deviation, and consequence. It is not shown to remain sufficient once local equivalence classes have diverged for intervals longer than shared prediction.

## P7. Value of a class before any accepted state contains it
Classification cannot assign significance beforehand. Archives can preserve what has become visible. Resource cannot compare structure already present with unrealized branches. The missing criterion is not supplied.

## P8. Whether collapse answers anything
The catastrophe deletes most of the original object and does not compose the evaluators. Survivors inherit lineage-specific requests. No result in §§39–43 should be read as selecting Invariant correction, participation, refuge, or archive-priority as the general rule.
